Strengthening Nepalese communities through small initiatives

Samartha Nepal is a profit not-sharing company registered under the Office of Company Registrar and affiliated to the Social Welfare Council (SWC), Nepal. We are committed to bringing sustainable changes in health and education sector, at the community level, through education and awareness programs. Our team comprises members and professionals from diverse backgrounds including medicine, social work, information technology, etc. who are complementing each other to deliver information and education to help people better understand the concepts and practices that professionals like ourselves have been trying to implement in the past years.

What we do?

  • Information and education content development and dissemination through efficient use of technology in as many regional and local languages as possible.
  • Development and administration of community focused programs in different sectors like health, education and entrepreneurship at the provincial and local levels.
  • Awareness and screening camps for various health conditions through liaison
    between diverse groups – legislature, health specialists, youth volunteers, women, members from marginalized group etc. to create a healthy community.
  • Liaison between policy makers, professionals and community leaders to bring about necessary changes in the community and improve citizen’s access to services
  • Disaster preparedness and information generation software to ensure effective as well as efficient post-disaster management (On-going).

    Clean, accessible water for all is an essential part of the world we want to live in and there is sufficient fresh water on the planet to achieve this. However, due to bad economics or poor infrastructure, millions of people including children die every year from diseases associated with inadequate water supply, sanitation and hygiene.
